Ellie is a Research Assistant within the Institute for Health and Wellbeing, contributing to the NE Essex Neighbourhood Evaluation.

Ellie received a sports scholarship to complete her BA in Psychology and Human Services in West Virginia. Upon her return to the UK in 2019, Ellie completed her MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Essex. She is currently completing a Ph.D. in Public Health, exploring barriers to physical activity with people with learning disabilities.

Ellie is interested in using co-produced and creative methods to ensure research is accessible and participatory for those involved.
